After my father was in a car accident and was not able to get around very well, we took in his elderly cat. She went from being the princess of the household to one of several cats. She showed us her displeasure by urinating in several areas in our house; everything from carpeting to ceramic tile to wood floors, before we lost her to lymphoma. After that our younger cat decided she needed to mark over the old spots. No matter how many different products we tried, we were never able to get the odor out, and the younger cat to stop marking.

I absolutely cannot say enough about this product. It was the most exciting thing when I picked up the terry cloth the next morning and it was yellow from removing the deep down ick from the carpet. You can see that it worked. I love this stuff, and have recommended it over and over to other people.  We have a new dog that has separation anxiety and has a difficult time learning the concept of going to the door.   She understands that the door leads to the outside where she gets praised for going to the bathroom, but she hasn't quite learned that you need to step through the door, and going to the bathroom in front of the door on the carpet doesn't count for getting praise, and a good-girl treat.  I know there is nothing left behind after using these products like the directions say, because when I pick that cloth up in the morning.....it has sucked up everything that was left in the carpet.  That is how you know it is working!!!

Your product is amazing. We had just replaced all of the carpet in our home, then went on a two week vacation. Dear Bill,

I got the kit yesterday, treated the stains and smelly spots last night. When I got them wet I figured it was going to smell worse, as it does when it's damp from steam cleaning.  It didn't!  I removed the damp towel this morning---the area is still damp, but it still doesn't smell!!!  The stains are gone, and even better, the carpet is soft again---like new!

I bought this house almost two years ago, and replaced the carpet right after I purchased it.  My two girls mark in the same place that the former residents dog probably used, so even with new carpet and padding the floor still had the urine smell in it, at least to the dogs!  This has worked.  Amazing.

Wow!  I've finally found an odor removing product that "really" works!  I started out looking for a solution by asking at local pet stores.  I tried the products with no success.  I then searched the web, and found Bill's site.  I received the 1-2-3 Kit almost the next day, and what a relief to actually see the urine that the spotting towel absorbs.  I did also buy a black light at a local pet store.  I would recommend it for households that have severe problems like ours.

Recently my husband sent you an e-mail praising your product.  He did not however go into much detail except that I have tried other products.  I want to add that I have tried EVERY over the counter product on the market.  Even those that come with a "Guarantee" or also have an enzyme action.  Some would work temporarily, but within a week the "cat" smell would return.  I have been battling this for 8 or more years, and have spent hundreds of dollars in products and "professional" carpet cleanings.  I was very skeptical when my husband said he found a product on the web, and the testimonies were impressive.  I was reluctant, but thought the kit price was so reasonable that it was worth a try.  Our only other option was to spend thousands of dollars on new carpet so we could sell the house.   We used the product and within a few minutes I could not smell the urine.   Again I thought it would not last.  It has now been a couple of months, and the smell is GONE!!!

Thanks for taking the time with me on the phone to coach me through my problem. Like I said, the product worked great on the original spot that I treated. When I started to smell some more urine on a particularly hot day, I thought, this must be high priced perfume. When I pulled the carpet back to inspect the area, I had to resist a very strong impulse to grab a gun and shoot that dog! There is nothing as revealing as the back side of a carpet to see where and exactly how much soiling (a more pleasant euphemism for urination) has actually taken place! Consequently, I need more material.

I must say that when I ordered the kit I was very skeptical about it's claims, because I have spent a fortune in odor and stain removers, and none of them work after the initial deodorant dried.  My husband was very upset that I had again spent more money on something that he didn't think was going to work.

The package arrived the day after I called you, and I used the 1-2-3 Odor free on the areas that my new puppy had "accidents," and sprayed the X-O over that.   When my husband came home that night, his first question was-- "What happened? Hello Bill,

I just received my product today and of course, ran right home after work to use it!  So far, so good - the towels are down for the night and it's the first time I have been able to actually sit in this room without smelling that smell (and I only used the product about an hour ago!!)  I didn't estimate the amount of space I needed to cover, though.  Although my cat kept his areas to only a few, he managed to cover quite a few "7 inch" areas around the same spot.  So may I please order another bottle of the Odor Free?  I needed just a bit more and then I can save the extra to have on hand "just in case"!  You may use the credit card that I just gave you for the initial order.

Dear Bill,

Finally!!!!!   A set of products that work just like they're supposed to! I have two small dogs and four cats, and I thought my predicament was hopeless. One of my dogs is elderly and was urinating all over my living room carpet. So badly in fact, that when I moved the recliner to clean under it, I found huge rust stains from the metal chair frame.  Well, the Yellow Free came to the rescue, and the rust stains were eliminated in 3 minutes!   I am indeed impressed, which being a skeptical New Englander, is not an easy thing to do.

Dear Bill:

My nine year old cat  Licorice, takes medication for constipation.   The medication helps, but often when she has to "go" she gets taken by surprise.  Because of the pressure on her bladder she sometimes urinates at this time, usually on the carpet as she is running to the litter box.

The odor was terrible, and I couldn't find out where it was coming from, since it usually happened during the day while I was at work.  By the time I figured out what was going on and used a black light to highlight the problem areas, there were accidents everywhere.  I was ready to tear up the carpet and tile the floor!

I used the 1-2-3 kit, tackling one or two spots a night.  By the end of the week the odor was gone, and the house was livable again.  Now I keep the 1-2-3 handy, and can clean up as I go along.  Also, with the odors out of the carpet, Licorice seems to be much more relaxed, and is having accidents less often.

A year ago I went to the animal shelter and brought home two cute little male kittens who are very entertaining. However, I came home one day to find that one of them had marked it's territory on my couch (that I had just finished paying off.) You may remember me. I called you the weekend before Christmas. Your company was closed, but you answered the phone. I have the sofa with the down cushions and throw pillows that the cat had urinated on.

This product is a miracle. I lived with the odor for over a month before finding your web-site. When I saw testimonials from nearby cities, I took a leap of faith. What a good move on my part. My furniture has absolutely no odor.  I removed the cushion covers, and cut multiple slits in the muslin cushion covering, injected the bacteria/enzyme stuff directly into the down feathers and foam base. Followed up with the odor neutralizer on the whole sofa cushion and throw pillows - wrapped the entire project in bath sheets and stuck it all in the dry bathtub overnight. With all of the Christmas decorations, and the family pets wandering around, I didn't want the down cushions shredded by the cats and dogs while drying. The next day I removed the bed sheets and continued to let everything dry for a few days.

Everyone thinks I'm nuts to be spouting off about an internet product. You have proven to be a man of your word, displayed excellent customer service, and took an honest interest in my problem. You weren't sure the product would eliminate the odor in the feathers, but I saturated that thing - giving all of the bacterium plenty of food for the holidays!!  It worked!  Thank you Bill. About six months ago, my Maine Coon kitten chose a corner of my home office to wet. The smell was awful. I cleaned and cleaned it with a veritable cocktail of chemicals to no avail. In fact, the chemicals just made a bad aroma seem downright dangerous. The odor started to fade a bit over time, but not nearly enough.  During my annual steam-cleaning-of-the-carpets, I decided to really put the detergent to it. What a mistake. The odor came back tenfold. In a fit of frustration, I finally pulled the entire carpet and pad out of the room. To my horror, the odor had penetrated into the plywood sub-floor. We have been looking for a solution to our urine odor problem for over a year and I'm happy to say we have found the answer in 123 Odor Free. I was skeptical at first, as I have purchased a lot of products claiming to work, which did not work.  The urine problem was very bad in my living room. I had to remove the carpeting, and even some of the drywall, but the odor still remained because the urine had absorbed into the 2X4 studs and sub-floor. I ordered the 123 Odor Free Kit and talked to Bill in detail about how to apply the products to achieve the results. The steps are easy and quick. I received the products in the mail and immediately followed the steps. The odor had improved but was not eliminated. I called to find out what I had done wrong. Bill explained that it is very rare when the product doesn't work. In those cases it's a house that has a very extreme problem. He encouraged me to try again, repeating the process. The odor improved some more but was not completely gone. I had used up my initial bottle of 123 Odor Free. I called Bill to see about getting my money back and he offered a choice of money back or a free bottle of 123. Since the product was working, I thought I would give it one more chance. The third application did the trick. There was no longer any detectable smell of urine, even with my nose right next to the area.

I write this to encourage skeptical cat owners to consider these products. They do work as advertised. I now have my room back and I have 123 Odor Free to thank for it.

Thanks so much for your wonderful product, and your equally wonderful service.   I recently returned home from a three week vacation to discover that one of my cats had urinated and defecated outside the litter box, mostly on my bed. Feces I can deal with, but the urine in the mattress had me stumped. I was afraid I would have to replace it. Then I found your website.  I called to confirm that the 123 Kit would work for mattresses too, since all of the testimonials seemed to be about carpets.  You assured that your product would also work well on a mattress, then you advised me against buying the whole kit -- you said that all I needed was the 123 Odor Free and the Instant Odor Neutralizer. I appreciated your honesty in not selling me more product than I needed, and I appreciated the time you took to carefully explain the process for treating the mattress (since the instructions were slightly different than the carpet treatment instructions that came with the product.)

After the first treatment I could still smell a slight urine odor. I hadn't "smooshed" in well enough.  But after a second treatment, all was well. I let the mattress dry, then flipped it over. I assumed that the inappropriate elimination was due to stress from my absence, so I thought that was the end of it.  Then it happened again!  It turned out that one of my male cats was terrorizing the other male, attacking him at the litter box.  Needless to say, the victim cat decided to urinate and defecate elsewhere, choosing the mattress yet again.

This time I did the treatment right the first time -- I smooshed and smooshed, and let the product do it's work.  After it dried, my mattress was as good as new again. And before we got the litter box problem solved, there were also a floor cushion and a pillow to treat, both of which were saved by your product.

Now the two male cats are separated unless supervised, so no more accidents.   And thanks to your product, I didn't have to replace my mattress.

I can't tell you how satisfied I am with the product. Our Schnauzer adopted a 4'x 5' area in my husband's bedroom as his bathroom. After much ado, we decided to change the carpeting. Before the carpeting was installed (to be done next week,) we cut out that portion of the carpet and pad, and sprayed the wood flooring below it with 1-2-3 and X-O. I know you probably get lots of e-mails every day with both questions, and testimonials, so I'll try to keep it brief.  Your products are simply amazing!

I had what I thought was a no win situation. This summer I moved into a nice house out in the country. I knew going in that the previous owners had cats that urinated in the house. I thought it would be no big deal. I'd call some carpet cleaning professional's and that would take care of it. I had no idea of the seriousness of my problem until the cleaning had absolutely no impact, and everything I tried seemed to be equally inept. Adding to the problem was my little Tabby. For the first time in her four years of life she started urinating in the house. Received the 1-2-3 Odor Free kit the other day, and have already used it extensively on my carpets. My 14 year old Springer Spaniel was in a funk while I was stuck in Scotland for 6 weeks with my critically injured mother, and took the opportunity to show her displeasure by forgetting her house training.  My husband had been threatening to have her put to sleep, but is fond of her again now that he does not have to put up with her strong smell.  I have also managed to eradicate some old vomit stains I thought were permanent.

This morning I was cleaning my kitchen and thought I'd try the 1-2-3 Yellow Free on some old rust stains that have been on my plastic laminate countertop for some time.  I have tried straight chlorine bleach, white vinegar, Soft Scrub, etc. on these stains to no avail.  Imagine my surprise when they came out in seconds with the 1-2-3 Yellow free included in my kit.  It's not just for carpets and upholstery anymore.

Bill--sorry it has taken so long to get back to you.  I am beyond amazed with this product.  When you actually called, I was floored---YOU'RE REAL!!!  I just thought it was the neatest thing.  Your product has removed a mustard stain which has been on my carpet for two years.  This fabulous product has also allowed me the security in knowing when my dog does have an accident, the smell, as well as the stain is gone.  My carpet is light beige, and I truly did think it was ruined, but after using Yellow Free it is as if no spots were there.  I want to place an order for 2 bottles of Odor Free, 1 bottle of Yellow Free, and 1 gallon of the concentrate spot cleaner.  I do not want to run the risk of running out of any of these products!!!

Should you choose; please feel free to use my letter in any of your advertising.  I would gladly endorse this product to anyone willing to stand still long enough!!  One last thing; your customer service technique is so great;   it is nice to know there is a real person behind this, and not a large cold company.

After trying two different store-bought enzymatic cleaners, vinegar and water solutions and, on the recommendation of a "household hints" book, even a salt stain remover for shoes, not one of which resulted in any improvement, I was certain that the beautiful leather briefcase my husband bought me for my birthday last year had been completely ruined by our 11 year old cat's decision to use it as a litter box. Just wanted to let you know that I have had excellent success with 1-2-3 Odor Free.  I used less than one bottle and the strong odor has been eliminated completely.  Today the humidity is 98%, and there is no trace of the urine odor.   I have given one of the extra bottles to a friend to pass the word along about such an outstanding product.  It worked so well that if you ever need a distributor in the southeastern U.S. I would be proud to be that person.

I can't believe I have finally found a product that does what it says it will do.  1-2-3 Odor Free is fantastic. 

About 4 months ago my 5 year old cat was diagnosed with a bladder disease.   Before I discovered that she did indeed have a physical problem, I thought she was urinating in the house due to behavioral problems.  The smell in the house was unbelievable.

Can't say enough about the 123 Odor Free Kit. We moved into a new house about a month ago.  The previous owner had installed new carpeting in two bedrooms just four months earlier, but his two small dogs had left behind the strong scent of urine. I have a new carpet and an elderly dog who has seizures, and sometimes she loses control of her bladder when she has a seizure.  I had bought a new carpet steamer and had tried all of the products suggested by Hoover, but there was still the odor.  I tried everything, and had even thought about replacing the section of the carpet affected.  On a last ditch effort, I went to the computer and typed in pet stains in the search engine.  1.2.3 ODOR FREE was one of the more interesting web sites that came back.  I called the number and spoke to Bill who was very knowledgeable. I figured for the price, I had nothing to lose. When the kit arrived I used it immediately.  Even though the stains had been there for 6 months, the treatment took out about 75% of the discoloration, and all of the odor.

Now when the dog has an accident, I immediately spray with 1.2.3 Odor Free, and put a damp cloth over the spot. By the next day the stain is gone, and the odor is gone several days later. 

It is a great product, and I recommend it to all of my friends who have pets.

It's me again reporting a new use for the Yellow Free. I have a fiberglass sink in my kitchen and put some oxy clean on it to clean it. Big mistake--it turned the sink icky yellow. I scrubbed with everything I could think of, and still the awful stain would not come out. I am in a panic because I think my house sold today--what to do? I got the Yellow Free out and sure enough the sink is whiter than I have ever seen it. It not only took out the yellow stains, but several other stains I could not remove. Is there anything this wonderful kit will not do? I am so totally sold on your products that I will never be without them in my house.

I wanted to send a note to thank you for your wonderful product, and for spending almost an hour on the phone with me, explaining the procedure, and giving me step by step instructions. My 15 year old cat, Montana, has started using the carpet as her litter box. We tried many different products to remove the smell, but nothing worked. My husband even went so far as to remove the padding, and the tackless strip. We later found out after speaking to you that with this product, that isn't necessary, and actually made more work for ourselves.

I ordered a kit around Christmas, and I immediately went to work on my carpet.  I had an incontinent elderly cat - but I didn't know she was incontinent until I got out the black light!  HOO BOY, did I have my work cut out for me.  I tried the pet store enzyme treatments last spring, and actually went through about 3 gallons - pouring it right into the carpet, but they never quite got to the 'root' of the problem.  Once I started using your injector to get the 1-2-3 solution under the pad, the smell slowly started fading.  I used the injector for the Odor Free, and I sprayed the area with the X-O spray.  I put a damp towel over the area, and yellow urine stain started wicking up into the towel.  I was amazed.

I also had a grape juice stain (on green carpeting) in another area of the house that NOTHING would touch.  It was the size of a saucer, and about 5 years old, and I had just given up.  Then I got the kit out.  I tried the Yellow Free.  HOLY COW.  I sprayed it on, worked it in with my fingertips, blotted away, and then put a damp towel over the area for 24 hours.  The stain had lifted and wicked into the towel.  I repeated the treatment a couple more times, and the stain is 95% gone.  Amazing.  I'm telling EVERYONE who has pets, children and/or grandchildren about this stuff.  If you need a distributor on the West Coast, I'd gladly do it.  I haven't tried the All Purpose Spotter yet - had the carpet steam cleaned in November, and we're good for a while.

Dear Bill,

I ordered your 1-2-3 Odor free kit a few weeks ago. I was skeptical because NOTHING has ever worked, but I figured if it didn't I'd at least get my money back, plus shipping.

I can't believe it.....IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!

The day the product arrived I went to town treating every area I knew of.  I used all three products (the Yellow Free, the 123, and the X-O) on each area to make sure it got everything.  In less than a week all the treated areas were completely urine free!  I even used a black lite to check before and after.  My house smells clean again!

I also used the Yellow Free on a couple of spots on my rug that the professional carpet cleaners couldn't get up.  They said they were 'permanent' stains.  Yellow Free took them right out in less than a minute, without even scrubbing!!!

Just ordered my second round of the 123 Odor Free. This is the most amazing product I have ever seen. My greyhound died two years ago, and I had a yellow spot, and odor that would not come out. He was on heart medicine, and diuretics. I had tried everything. We recently purchased your 1-2-3 Odor Free Kit.  The home we had bought one year earlier had a couple of urine stains that the experts couldn't get out, and after our pup decided to put his "mark" on top of these old stains we were just about at our wits end.  Our carpet is an off white, and the dingy yellow stains looked awful.  I decided to surf the web and try to find a solution, short of replacing the nearly new carpet, for our problem.  Needless to say, despite your sales pitch and testimonials, I was somewhat skeptical, but I ordered the kit anyway.  It was one of the best decisions I've ever made.  Your advice and instructions even before the order was placed was excellent.  The documentation sent along with the kit was clear and concise.  The results from using the product were nothing short of fantastic, and this is from someone not easily impressed.  Not only was the odor from the new spots totally removed, so were the old dingy yellow stains left by the previous owners dog!   Just a note to say thanks for selling a product that really works!

One additional note.  My wife lost her grip on an entire gallon of Crystal Light fruit drink, which naturally ended up in our carpet.  We immediately blotted up the excess liquid, vacuumed with our Rainbow vacuum, and placed your spotter on the area.  We covered it with a damp towel, and the next morning the towel had wicked up the red stain.  To this day I will defy anyone to find the spot.
